Privacy Policy

Wandervox: Berlin ("the App"), developed by Kaan Oğuz, respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Data stored on your device only:

• Game progress: Completed zones, vocabulary learned, XP, streaks, and in-game currency. Stored locally via SwiftData.
• Preferences: Language selection, difficulty setting, and notification preferences. Stored in UserDefaults.
• Purchase status: Which subscriptions or bundles you own. Cached locally and verified against Apple's StoreKit.

Data we do NOT collect:

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number).
• We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs.
• We do not have user accounts or require sign-in.
• We do not transmit any personal data to external servers. The App downloads additional content (zone assets such as audio and images) from our servers after subscription, but no personal or identifying information is sent in these requests.

2. Speech Recognition

The App offers an optional voice input mode that uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed locally on your device by iOS and is not sent to any external server. Microphone access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time in Settings.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.

4. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on your device and nothing is transmitted externally, the App is suitable for users of all ages.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All App data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by:

• Using the "Reset All Data" option in the App's Settings.
• Deleting the App from your device.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.

7. Apple Privacy Manifest

The App includes a Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) as required by Apple. The manifest declares the following:

• Tracking: The App does not track users across apps or websites.
• Collected data types: None.
• Accessed API types: UserDefaults (reason CA92.1 — used to store app preferences and settings locally on your device).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
